Jules Chappell OBE is a communications specialist.
After graduating university in 2003, Jules joined the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and was posted to Baghdad as a member of the coalition's governance team after the fall of Saddam Hussein's regime – she was appointed an OBE the following year in recognition of her services.
In 2008 Jules became the UK’s youngest ambassador to Guatemala, and non-resident ambassador to El Salvador and Honduras at the age of 31. During her time in Guatemala, she made issues surrounding domestic violence in the country a key part of her mission.
In 2013, Jules won a Women of the Future Award in the Community Spirits category.
She is currently a Managing Director at London and Partners.
Kim and Jules spoke about bringing out her competitive edge in training for the England Lacrosse team with her German Shepherd in Ethiopia, the inspiration she derives from her husband and 4 year-old twins, newfound passion for immersive story-telling and how combining resilience with humanity has always been a huge part of work.
